MJ Shekhar – Where it all began
MJ’s interest in makeup began early, watching her mother get ready and noticing how confidence changes when you feel put together. Even in school, she was the friend people relied on for makeup for relatives and small functions. Coming from an IFS officer family, she followed the expected academic track, completed an MBA in HR, and worked in corporate for two years. But her heart stayed with makeup.
Choosing makeup as a full-time career was not considered “serious” when she started. People questioned the decision, doubted the stability, and treated it like a phase. MJ still took the leap, left corporate, and committed fully. The early years came with rejections, financial pressure, and the reality of running a service business from scratch. Vibhu Vaibhava – The Force Behind
As the studio grew, Vibhu joined as Co-founder and Business Head, bringing systems and strategy to scale the experience. Vibhu has been an inspiration and a true gentleman who understands women and genuinely wants them to grow. He focuses on the parts that most people never see, but every bride feels: clear communication, calm coordination, and a process that respects timelines and reduces chaos on the wedding morning. From early call-time planning and logistics to ensuring every touchpoint feels premium, he helps the team deliver consistency at scale while keeping the experience personal and warm.
